I began my career as a licensed massage therapist (LMT) in 2010, following my training at Cortiva Massage School in Seattle. I choose to be a massage therapist because of the healing power that touch, movement, and conversation have to help a person recover from pain and discomfort. I love working alongside my clients as they rise above their limitations.

I know from personal experience the effects that pain from car accidents, injuries, or chronic disease can have on our lives, and I strive to help and facilitate my clients as they navigate their own journeys through the healing process.

I regularly work with clients who have been in auto accidents, or who live with chronic pain and limited mobility. I utilize visceral manipulation and its related concepts in my treatment sessions, taking advantage of the gentle and direct way it allows us to treat the body and the nervous system. I am certified to massage the muscles inside the mouth (this is called intraoral massage) which can be fundamental in relieving jaw pain, neck pain, and headaches. I am a Certified Kinesio Taping® Practitioner® (CKTP®), which allows me to further assist clients hoping to decrease pain, reduce swelling, improve injury recovery, and promote better posture with the use of Kinesio Tape®. I also treat clients seeking relaxation, stress relief, help with anxiety or depression, or the benefits of massage during pregnancy.

Whatever reasons you have for seeking massage, I welcome you and look forward to working with you!

Kristina Turner, LMT

I studied massage therapy in beautiful British Columbia, Canada at the West Coast College of Massage and Hydrotherapy, one of the most extensive massage therapy programs in the world. In 2014 I graduated their rigorous and challenging 2800 hour program which included offering sports massage at several race events, countless hours of clinical work, and three hospital based internships. After graduating, I worked in a busy physiotherapist clinic treating patients with pain and injuries and guiding them through their recoveries.

I believe massage therapy can have a profound impact on a person’s wellness and healing process. In my sessions I combine therapeutic treatment with relaxation techniques, while always maintaining focus on my patient’s primary concern. I am dedicated to creating a safe space that allows my patients to experience touch in healthy, transformative, and life changing ways. Additionally, I’m a strong activist within the intersex and transgender communities and am a safe, informed practitioner for gender variant clients.

When I’m not treating patients, you’ll find me spending time with my three children, exploring the Pacific Northwest with our fur baby, Bella.
